So the stats file evidently placed several players who were actually drafted in 1993 into the 1994 file. Why, I have no idea. Like I said before, I don't really check for that because I assumed the file was 99% accurate. But Nick pointed out the following players are in the wrong year:
Alex Rodriguez Torii Hunter Chris Carpenter Jeff Suppan Brad Fullmer Jose Molina (his brother Bengie is in the file) Javier Valentin Derrick Gibson John LeRoy Dan Smith Kane Davis Roosevelt Brown Todd Dunwoody Edgard Clemente
Question. Should we delay draft until Sunday so I can add these players in? Or just defer to the 1994 draft?

When I have some time next week, I'll go through some of the future seasons so this doesn't pop up at the last minute.

If you're planning on tanking for a certain player (which I think should be wrong, but I digress) There's a file on the website that shows you exactly when that player is showing up. Not sure why this is an issue at this point. I stand to benefit if you add them back in, but I'd think the teams that traded me their picks would be less than pleased at this point.

I traded with break assuming these players were in the pool.

I traded with break assuming these players were in the pool. What happened to don’t steal Rolen?

I traded with break assuming these players were in the pool. Doubtful, otherwise you would have been asking for them instead of upgrades to Rolen. No way do you argue for Rolen to be better as the #1 pick if you assume ARod should be there.

When I wanted breaks pick I was hoping it would be higher, ask him he was even pitching it.
It triggered my memory when arod was brought up.

I didn't vote, because I don't care either way. But whatever the result is should be consistent going forward. Otherwise you're going to have some artificially strong and weak drafts.
Meaning, if you put these players in the '93 pool, but don't put the incorrect players from '95 into the '94 pool (post on this coming soon) then you're going to have a very strong 1993 class and very weak 1994 class.
Adding: people may also make deals depending on who is in the next class or how deep/shallow it is. It would be great to have this information locked in ahead of time and not susceptible to last minute change.

I'm not going to complain if they are not added despite for voting as such. But can we go through and fix future years no matter what vote outcome?

He didn't even know one of his all time favorites was missing, he definitely would have brought up Carp being missing if he actually knew

I traded with break assuming these players were in the pool. You never thought to look at the future draft class link at the top of the home page?

Looks like we'll defer these guys until next season, but yes, would like to avoid these going forward. 20 points each season to whoever wants to step up and do that. Nick, you interested?

Already did 1994. I can go through the others in more detail since there's no rush at the moment. No points necessary
