360 feet HoFFBL OD
The defending world champs have decided to let everyone know that they plan on crushing it again this year jumping out to a 3 game lead and the best record in HOFFBL at 11-1. LA and SD are both playing .667 ball and normally that is good enough to lead a division, alas this year that might not even be good enough to make the playoffs as a NL West team.
Out in the AL West, looks like once again there will be a dog fight between the Angels' and the Mariners. Once again both pitching staffs are excellent with Seattle having the 3rd best in the league early on and Cali having the 4th best.
The Cards in the NL are once again leading the division, with a scant 1 game lead over the Cubs. Once again while this division will probably go down to the wire, it looks like it will be win or go home here as the early season bookmakers have the west sending the wildcard team in the NL.
After sleeping in their parents basement for the last 5-10 years, the Twins are making some noise, but will it be enough to unseat the perennial Central champs, the White Sox? Further complicating the issue is Detroit wanting to claim back what was once called the Tiger House Division.
Speaking of perennial teams, have the Blue Jays finally been cast off as old and forgotten? Are the Red Sox and Indians finally going to cast them aside? While it is too early to tell, initial ballots are in, and the Blue Jays may need a little magic.
In the NL East, we either have the best division in baseball or the worst. Sadly for fans of the East it looks like the worst. The only division with only 1 team over 500, is the East, and the early results say it is up for grabs this year.
