After an abysmal week last week, the fan favorite Braves bounced back a little bit and went 5-3 for this stretch.
The week started with a 3 game series vs the Reds in Cincinnati with a combine 3 day score of 10-8 with the Braves winning 2 of the 3 games. The first two games of the series were won by a run and the combined score was 7-7. Game three was Fulgham one again as a starter pitching 6 great innings and finally the lamb of last week, Corbett came in for his 2nd save of the week.
Coming home the Braves had the next four games versus the Pirates where all but the third game the bats were alive allowing them to easily win 3 of 4.
With all that success, the run ended on a bad note as the last game was a shutout loss to the Cardinals on the road.
The #89 rock song of 93, I'm quite shocked about, as while I love the song, I don't remember ever hearing it on the radio. Was just a CD I bought and... some great songs
