Interested in Park.
Would someone please explain the costs/negatives. Looks like I have the reservation points available. By taking Park am I making a mistake, by not have a chance player X in the coming drafts that I’m not taking into acccount? I did read through the “constitution”.
Thanks

Park's cost would be: 10 (for reservation fee) + 34 (4.9 + 4.2 + 3.5 + 3.1 + 1.5 = 17.2 * 2 = 34.4 = 34 for Top 5 WAR) + 21 (26th pick - 5th rated reservation) = 65 pts You would use your 26th pick to effectively move up and pick. You would be forfeiting your next available 2nd, 3rd and 1st round picks. You have the points, and would be left with 39 pts. Starting in 2000, you'll get 2 points a season. So think in 2010, you'll have 59 points. This might impact your ability to get a player like Kershaw, Bellinger, Betts (if he plays long enough with the Dodgers). Since I'm responding late, I'll give you until tomorrow morning to decide. Let me know.

He's yours. You have 180 points. Vlad's cost is: 10 (for reservation fee) + 64 (7.4 + 7.1 + 6.0 + 5.7 + 5.6 = 31.8 * 2 = 63.6 = 64 for Top 5 WAR) + 16 (17th pick - 1st rated reservation) = 90 pts You would use your 17th pick to effectively move up and pick. You are forfeiting your next available 2nd and 3rd round picks.

I’ll reserve- CL- Francisco Cordero He's yours. You have 127 points Cordero's cost will be: 10 (Reservation Fee) + 22 (3.6 + 2.1 + 1.9 + 1.7 + 1.7 = 11 * 2 = 22 for Top 5 WAR) + 2 (11th pick - 9th rated reservation) = 34 pts You will use your 11th pick to effectively move up and select Cordero. You will forfeit your 3rd round pick.

I have 39 pts. Guessing nowhere near enough for Foulke? So you have 39 points now. Foulke's cost would be: 10 (for reservation fee) + 36 (4.5 + 3.7 + 3.5 + 3.5 + 3.0 = 18.2 * 2 = 36.4 = 36 for Top 5 WAR) + 16 (24th pick - 8th rated reservation) = 62 pts You can't reserve him.

You will forfeit your 3rd round pick. see how much would foulke cost? or how where would i need to trade into draft to get em The 10 point fee + the 36 point Top 5 fee alone is already over the 39 points you have, so it's not possible. That said, nothing preventing you from moving up in the draft to draft him or trade with the team that selects him.

He's yours. You have 141 points. AROD's cost is: 10 (for reservation fee) + 95 (10.4 + 9.4 + 9.4 + 9.4 + 8.8 = 47.4 * 2 = 94.8 = 95 for Top 5 WAR) + 4 (6th pick - 2nd rated reservation) = 109 pts You would use your 6th pick to effectively move up and pick. You are forfeiting your next available 3rd round pick.
