i feel like we need a better system...can we list awards, allstar appearances etc the fact Gentle with 484 HRs is barely getting votes, also shows something is wrong. I've already set these up thru 1980... |

Voted. Shocked Bill White probably wont make it. 2900 hits and 700 sbs. after watching these votes, I feel like there needs to be a rethinking of what the threshold is to get someone into the Hall. with such a small voting pool of 20 people, basically it only takes 4 voters to decide if someone is unworthy. I mean, while I wasn't in the league when these guys played, seems weird to watch people not get votes when Vic and Yogi are in. |

I understood people being 50/50 on Robertson but Battey being ignored is just laziness to take a closer look when voting I agree. I think numerous people should be in that aren't. Only 2 people have > 170 trips in 40ish years of this league and he's also a top 10 base stealer, what is this supposed criteria people have to electing someone? A guy with 374 saves got two votes, but getting to that total is as rare as getting the 308 wins that Koufax had. |
