TEXAS - When it rains, it pours. Texas' right-hander Jeff Barkley will not pitch for at least 8-9 weeks, handing the team a huge setback. He suffered a serious injury in a game against Boston where he left the field in the 8th inning. Texas wasted no time and rushed him to an hospital. Team officials were informed later that Barkley had suffered a Strained Elbow Ligament. This season Barkley compiled an ERA of 4.71, going 6-6 in 0 starts.
