Again, I want this league to be for the people, by the people. So now that we have been able to narrow down to the early 1950s, let's get to the second part of this poll and pick the actual start season, that is, if it really matters.

It would fit nicely as a "60th anniversary" resim league.
Jezz, can you imagine if we can get to real time? That'll be 70-75 seasons.

53 Was Ernie Banks rookie year. Mr. Cub has to be a Cub. And we'll get to real time simming a season every 6 weeks, I would about count on that.

I will extend the time frame to vote until Sunday. I am not going to get much done this weekend anyway with the holiday =) I will continue to post rules and regulations.

Thank you for voting. Despite 1950 being favored 6 to 5, I was more convinced by the reasons given to start in 1953 and I like the idea of having a 60th anniversary restart.
