One of us will sim tomorrow up till the last day, if you have any special lineup changes to make since it covers soo many days PM both Chris and I, we can stop mid sim to pull a pitcher if you want them pulled on X days, we will not check each day to see if they are at 35 games.
The last day will be simmed when everyone in playoff contention says "ready"

Tuesday 9/20/1997: San Francisco has no chance in a 1-hitter by John Smoltz
ATLANTA - Atlanta's right-hander John Smoltz is a great pitcher. And he once again showed his stuff, blanking San Francisco on just one hit. It's his 11th shutout this season, and the 45th time he has done it in his career. Smoltz (26-4) struck out 7 and walked 1, throwing 67 of 105 pitches for strikes. 'Hey, that's my job! Everytime I take the mound I give the best I can. And my best stuff was too much for them today.' Kelly Gruber provided Atlanta with the offense Smoltz needed as he went 2 for 4, blasting a homerun, scoring two runs and collecting 2 RBI. The final score of the game was 5-0.
Monday 9/19/1997: Luis A. Rivera out for 6-7 weeks
NEW YORK (A) - New York (A)'s shortstop Luis A. Rivera suffered a serious injury when he was struck by a pitch from Kansas City's Kevin Appier. He collapsed in pain and was helped off the field. Rivera will probaby miss 6-7 weeks. After x-rays were taken the diagnosis did not surprise many: Fractured Cheekbone. Surgery will be performed next week. He has hit 20 longballs while batting .285 this season. His 134 hits and 37 walks add up to a .345 on-base percentage.
Monday 9/19/1997: Justice and McGriff win Player of the Week award
The American League's best player of the week was California's David Justice, who wins the award for the 6th time in his career. He hit .357 with 16 RBI and slugged 1.000 in 28 at bats. David managed to drive in at least one run in every game he played this week. He now has homered in 3 consecutive games as well! While compiling an on base percentage of .332, David hit .276 and slugged .562. He has collected 126 runs batted in this year. He's 1st in the American League in RBIs and 2nd in homeruns! Atlanta's first baseman Fred McGriff had some reason to celebrate as well, as the league named him the National League Player of the Week. Fred pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .417 with 4 HR and 9 RBI while slugging 1.000. McGriff has hit 24 homeruns this year while batting .267. He adds 33 doubles, along with 89 runs scored.
