submit your ideas such as: *you have an hr to pick if you log on or be auto'd *if you haven't been on in 12 hrs you will be auto'd *send the draft mods your cell number or be auto'd *send a list not to be autoted and get 3 points per list
the above are ideas to get the conversation started. everyone complains the offseason takes too long, and having the draft take 5-7 days is insane. |

FYI the draft file should be ready in 2-3 days after the flip going forward

I think you know where I stand on shorter time limits on weekends - 3 hours from 4 in 1st, 1 hour from 2 in 2nd, 30 mins from 1 hour for 3rd. That means Friday evening to Sunday evening. It would make draft quicker if this goes another weekend. Hoping it doesn't though.
Not sure points are needed for lists. I know you want to incentive it, everyone knows they work or they should know. For whatever reason folks don't use it. Texting is another option - we all have our phones with us at work.
If you log onto board and don't pick within a hour you should be autoed without question. You're holding up the draft. If you're trying to trade the pick, let someone know so not autoed.

My problem is what it’s always been. Takes forever to get to where we even have a draft class and then it’s hurry hurry hurry. I’m in a golf trip, get back tomorrow, and I know that’s a me problem, but I was ready last week. Now I miss FA and will probably get auto’s tomorrow because NOW you’re in a hurry. I also appreciate everything u and everyone does, but I’d also say put yourself in my/out shoes

My problem is what it’s always been. Takes forever to get to where we even have a draft class and then it’s hurry hurry hurry. I’m in a golf trip, get back tomorrow, and I know that’s a me problem, but I was ready last week. Now I miss FA and will probably get auto’s tomorrow because NOW you’re in a hurry. The window is still 3 hours in 2nd round. I'm not sure how long flight is, trip from airport to home. I know it sucks on phone. |

-no time slots, just give a 2 to 3 hour time limit to pick in the first round.
-30 minutes to 1 hour time limit if you are on the boards(make the draft board for members only)
-3 points to send a list seems fair.

How about segmented time slots.
1-10 being a certain time of day?
For example if the draft is ready on a Wednesday afternoon we do picks 1 through 15 by Friday PM.
First FA sim is friday pm. If you pick between 1 and 15 and you havent picked yet send a list and the commish will update to 15.
FA sim 2 is Saturday PM. Draft slots are 16 to end of round 1. Same thing applies. Pick on the boards. If you havent been up yet send a list.
Etc.

so round 2 and 3 went pretty well with posting times pre 8 am.
also Mark and me having some way to real time let people know they are up helps the most.
