Just to clarify what happened. I imagine you signed guys to Baltimore that wouldn't talk to my team. 2 pitchers in question. Only asking because I had two pitchers that were going to be called up in Colon and Anderson so I feel like it was unnecessary and is costing me 3mil for no reason. (I understand we are cracking down on tanking but I made signings this offseason to fill my pitching already)

Secondly and more importantly if we are going to fill out teams rosters how we see fit, that is fine. But it needs to be done with equal consistency. You signed guys who wouldn't talk to my team to contracts with $$$ attached. Yet you signed all minor league $0 deals for Boston. Yes I realize that he had $0 for free agency. But if you can sign guys who won't talk to my team and then trade them to me. Why is this not being done consistently. I'm sure other teams possibly had signings done too, I just looked at Boston because I knew he would be a good example.

Just doesn't make sense to me how we can police something and then not have any consistency.

ah no, I fucked up and had their team as the FA team and had to trade them.  you fielded another shit team and again I had to sign players to it. I filled his team up first and then looked at yours.

Arizona signed quite a few guys to bigger money deals.

I signed reasonably priced guys for multiple years so the intent was to field a serviceable team and have guys leftover at good money when my team progressed.

It is what it is, just looked odd. Mainly because you signed additional pitchers when I have guys in AAA that need to come up.

Ideally I'd like to call up Colon and Anderson as they both need to move up. But their are worse guys I can send down to make room for them. So no worries. Just figured I had signed enough pitching this offseason to fill out my roster so was shocked to see another 3 mil in signings.
