Well baseball fans, today I will save you from having to call my 1-800 number, I will give you the dirt on the 1998 season for FREE.... bet you didn't see that prognostication coming
The teams that will make the playoffs are from the NL, 4 of these 5 will make it
Atlanta, Montreal, Pittsburg, LA, and San Francisco. Of the 5, the least likely is the one GM'd by Greeme
over in the AL, there isn't a fuzzy reading there at all, it's gonna be Toronto, Chicago, Detroit and California. Minnesota is the only dark horse, however my readings don't have any of the two teams in the Central having 16 injuries to give the Twins a chance.
The following teams will probably not even win 50:
Arizona, Boston, Seattle, Oakland, and Houston, and Break claiming his team could win 60, is nothing but a smokescreen for how bad he is tanking.
St Louis has a chance to join this group.
The Come back player of the year award will go to Atlanta Jim Abbot who will set a career high for wins and knock at least 2.5 off last seasons ERA
the Giants will lead all NL teams in homers.
