meanwhile dodgers are paying two worse players 40 mil but big market is not a big advantage no siree I have a a smaller market than you and have out earned the dodgers by 150 million over the 21 seasons I've been back... but it's all about they have a bigger market... sigh |

I keep guys in AAA longer than most. I move guys up to the majors to take advantage of fan interest boosts. I can afford to give guys 2 year 20 million dollar contracts because I also have productivity at 300k and arbitration salaries. Keeping my minors stocked. It was always my intention to let Buhner walk after this season and it’s work out just fine for me as I expected. It’s my strategy to not give 30+ y/o players long contracts. I also keep in mind roster and payroll flexibility 3 and 4 years down the road. It also laughable that you act like Boston is some small market team. Next time you make your “Big Run” try not to blow your load in 30 seconds. |

Definitely agree Sosa over Manny. To have a stud hitter on a 5 mil contract is priceless. Manny would have to put up 4 times the number to be able to argue that he's a better player for your team.
I guarantee that with the 15mil additional salary space that milwaukee can add a premium player.
So Sosa plus said 15 million dollar player is going to put produce Manny and a replacement level player every season.
