After some thought I'd like to move the Marlins to Miami and change the teams name to The Miami Makos.
I know we've stuck with reality in this league, I've posted a poll to see if the majority of the league would
approve this.

As far as benefitting anyone, it would move me down in the Amateur draft in case of same record because I believe it Goes alphabetically |

As far as benefitting anyone, it would move me down in the Amateur draft in case of same record because I believe it Goes alphabetically Team ID effects FA Team ID goes in order of division and then alphabetical. So BAL is 1, BOS is 2 ... TOR is 5, CHA is 6 ... MIN is 10, CAL is 11, etc. If FLA becomes MIA, the ID number would stay the same since they would still be between Atlanta and Montreal, with New York and Philadelphia following. It will change slightly when Montreal goes to Washington. |

Why are 10 people against this? Good question. I'd guess some because of historical accuracy and some because they don't understand the team ID thing. Don't know that I had to necessarily do a poll, probably could have just asked Chris if I could do it, just wanted to see if it was going to cause issues I guess. |

I prefer historical accuracy myself. I was in an ootp4 league once where everyone had fake teams. It was ok.

I don’t really care one way or the other but this league seems really into historical accuracy what with the player reservations, editing draft classes, etc. That said they are the Miami Marlins irl, so I don’t see a problem with switching to the city name. It’s more the nickname that’d be the issue. |
