Philadelphia (AP) -- Both Sadowski brothers, Ed (C, AA) and Bob (P, A), find themselves listed on the injury report.
Ed bruised his cheekbone during an opening day collision at the plate, and will return this week.
Bob, a recent 3rd round pick, was injured this past sim while pitching. He will also return this week, when he will toe the mound for the class A Schenectady Blue Jays, and soon hopes to join his brother on more than the DL as he works to earn a promotion to AA.
Upon Bob's arrival, the Sadowski brothers of Pittsburgh will find they are not the only siblings on the team.
Brooklyn-born Ken and Bob Aspromonte are plying there trade for the AA Tulsa Oilers as well, along with recent 1st and 2nd rd picks Teolindo Acosta and Ron Fairly.
With Alon and Oren Gur managing in the City of Brotherly Love, it is no surprise they have an eye for such things.
Note: didn't realize this when drafting Bob Sadowski. Local media loves it though.
