Basically I was on a forum way back in 2002, and someone made a post claiming that DD would be the breakout pitcher of the year. For some reason the thread exploded, became the most commented thread in the forum’s whole history, and by the time it was finally locked it had become a bit mythologized. We created a fantasy baseball league in its honour and 16-year-old me chose dougiejays as my SN. |
