Sheff is good but the pitcher’s nothing to write home about. Most guys wouldn’t move firsts for old guys in this league but it’s not like your first is that high, so whatever.

I also had a gm tell me they don't want to trade in the league anymore because they don't want to deal with the pack backlash if they don't like the deal. This is the best example of the vocal majority picking fights with a select few. Just showing the hypocrisy of you were to switch the trade partners here. . There goes the, you can’t trade 1st round picks for old guys narrative. Plus the contract is LONG. … I PM all new GMs that they should run trades by myself or a different GM until they better understand the values in the league. I struggled with this league at first and asked advice about every trade for a couple seasons. Points/fixes/upgrades ext. … Side notes: Jeff Austin is still trash and Nomo led the Yankees to back to back AL East titles and another title likely this season. When will that narrative die? |

Rogers is nothing to write home about? Lol. Unless you’re pointing out he’s in his last year of his contract, he absolutely is something to write home about. This league is so in love with ratings that it mostly ignores results. |

Matt your opinion of GABL is highly inflated. It was a decent league but it wasnt active. Easily worse then DKML, HOFFBL and BBSBL.

If it's activity activity activity and I don't care about a bunch of juvenile behavior, then sure, I guess. The first number of years in GABL there was none of the childish bullshit. When Chris and I started it we talked specifically about trying to keep it out. If you remember, it was invitation only based on GM's we had played with before, we tried to align people with their real life favorite teams anticipating that they'd stay longer and be more invested. It was only after we started running short on GM's and started inviting everyone and everybody did it start to go downhill. I don't need 24/7 activity, I just want consistent sims and people to not be assholes, but evidently in todays society that's asking too much. |

Which is why I dont rate GABL that highly. I enjoyed it. It was fun. But you keep speaking to it as a perfect league that all leagues should be compared to. It isnt that to me. It can be that to you though.
Also why do you let these people get to you? Who cares? Just run your team. Make deals.
