To help the admins the following changes are coming. You still get to stash some players in the minors, but will leave some for FA to fill out teams as needed.
Players should be cut after the flip to get to the max of 18
Beginning 2007
Only 18 gold star players allowed in the minors
Beginning 2008
Only 10 gold star players allowed in the minors
Players that are blue at the beginning of the season are exempted for the season.
If you have the max allowed you cannot sign further FAs to the minors that are gold star.

This kinda fucks with the ability to use scrubs in trades doesn't it. Should probably be 2 star or higher gold stars?

all drafts will have at least 7 rounds of players going forward... finding a scrub shouldn't be hard

Same. whatever time you save going through mlcs is more than made up for in time spent monitoring/enforcing this. |

To expand on it further this is just gonna keep me from filling out my minors with any consistency. Right now I have a shitload of marginal pitchers and a few scrub hitters to fill out lineups. Obviously I’ll cut all my 1-star hitters which means I’ll only have like 3-4 hitters per level

Punished for actually wanting have a minors system. Time to just switch to ootp6 or 7 that had a 40 man roster
