I don’t want a redraft. If we’re gonna do that then what’s the point of historical teams

I don’t want a redraft. If we’re gonna do that then what’s the point of historical teams I get that. But what’s the point of a sim league where teams start better then others. Might as well toss the first 8 seasons out because they don’t mean anything. Those titles hold less value because some teams are gifted far superior teams.

That's baseball.

Yeah but anytime you inherit a team you get that. When I started here as Atl I inherited a division winner but I basically had to tear it down immediately Edit: on that note, I just realized I’ve been in this league for 40 sim seasons. Holy hell!

think 69 with 24 teams is better, you kick GMs out, you might lose em for good.

I’d like to keep the Dodgers. I see Dougie asked for the Dodgers. I’ll take Detroit.

With no Toronto, I'd take Detroit. That's if Detroit doesn't want to try it. If not, I guess I'd stick with the white sox again but would like to change it up

My only interest in the league would be if we start with our own teams roster. If it's going to be a redraft or keep 5 draft the rest I probably would not have interest.

Anyway, just curious if there will be any interest in a restart league in 2025. Based on my math it's more like early 2026 to catch up to modern day. Probably should table "who's gonna be who till" then and focus on what it will be when we get there. Maybe do like spence and have everyone submit blind bids for the teams they want (top 3) and see what can be done.

the 2 things for me that made this the best OoTP league was upgrades and reversals.
I think the stuff put in place recently has really helped with inflation (until the 10 year reward package lol).
But for the most part I think HoFBBL has been the closest to a perfect league as there was to promote actually checking in more than ST and OD if you didn't have a playoff team.
