Branca signed for 2/3; I sampled some other players (with asking prices as both MR and SP) and found that they seemed to ask for between 500k to 3M more as an SP. Given Branca's age, ratings and endurance rating, I am inclined to modify the contract next season from 2M/3 years to 3.5M/3 years IF you plan on keeping him a starter for the majority of the next season. I trust that you will find this reasonable.

Flowers signed for 700/5. I did not allow Trevor to resign Gray for the same type of deal, so to be fair to everyone, to meet the intent of the signing, he needs to start at least 8 more games (10 this season), if healthy, or I will release him to FA pool next off-season.

That's not really fair. He gave me a MR price too, this time, so I could have just signed him to that. But I was going to start him for a while this year. But to be fair, what I really need to do, is simply reach a 50/50 point between starts and relief appearances right? Because at that point, I'd have been able to offer him as a SP. So as of today, he has 5 MR appearances, and 2 starts. He'll have 3 starts after today. 2 more starts the next sim(s), and I'd be able to offer him as a SP. I shouldn't have to start him 8 times. I'd rather you have just made me wait if that were going to be the case.  |
