Yep. All Shale. So dominant I guess it was a fluke that I made the WS this year. Crazy. lol Pirates had a -13 pyth. You got very lucky. Hahaha. Thanks. Appreciate it. Can't wait for your Mets to dominate only for the fact that you purposely lose to get better draft picks. That's the part of sim leagues that make no sense. If you continue to suck as a GM or manager you get fired. Shale's teams always suck. |

allegedly................lol You don't believe me? Stutter does not have a working computer. He uses his phone entirely to access anything OOTP-related. He could get it fixed, but he's a lazy stoner, so that probably won't happen for a while. DRowe works 2 jobs and is never around his computer like at all. And I'm not sure if he even has a Windows computer, because as we all know, it's impossible to use OOTP on a Mac. Again, not sure what kind of computer he has. Stoool is another really busy guy and he asked me if I could help him out with exporting, so as a good friend, I'm helping him out. Maybe we need to find some owners that can participate a little more. We already have a few others on top of those three that don't. Nothing against those guys, but dang, why be in a league when you can't even devote any time. You know? |

So, Shale, in all seriousness, you're not making ANY decisions on these other teams outside of exporting? Not changing in or out injured players? Not calling up guys? I'm not accusing of any sort of collusion, I haven't even looked to see if there's been any trades between these teams, but I have a hard time believing, if these guys circumstances are what you say they are, that they're having much say at all and that you're not just "doing what's best for the team, whats best for the league"..........in your mind. Not accusing, asking. Because I can certainly see, with your personality being what it is (NOT being negative here) where you could justify that it's best for the league if you do what needs to be done to keep these teams active.

Why should I be trying to be compete when the Pirates started with barely anything in 1953 and the Mets had absolutely nothing in 1962. Like seriously, what else was I supposed to do? And lol @ my teams always sucking. I'm in at least in the top 5-6 in this league in terms of actual postseason success. |

By this logic, Matt thinks a hypothetical team that is exactly .500 for 10 consecutive years and doesn't come even close to making the playoffs once is better in the long run than a team that tanked for 6 years and then made the playoffs the next 4 years and won 3 championships in those 4 years. I could not disagree more with this kind of thinking.

When you have a team that has no shot of winning at the moment, you're supposed to do everything you can to build for when you feel that team is actually ready to really compete. Trying to compete when it's impossible to field a winning team is a complete waste of time and energy. I'm all about making the most of good opportunities and not wasting any efforts when I don't need to.
And I have tanked the right way too. I don't have holes in my lineup or people playing out of position or in positions that are not their best defensively. I don't fuck around with my team sliders in bad ways. So many people in BBSBL have violated all this stuff multiple times but not me, because I have enough integrity to not do that.
I even called out the married couple known as the Gobles for having incomplete lineups...where was Matt to talk shit to them? Oh wait they're his friends so that wasn't gonna happen either way.

If Chris didn't want them in the league I'm sure he wouldn't have asked them. They certainly don't bring any drama bs. |

I really believe the only person I've ever really "talked shit" to in this league is Break. I can't stand constant whining and crying and threatening. So I call him out on it. I'll never understand why someone would hate the rules of a league, think they are preventing him from competing, and still stay.

People can devote time...exporting just isn't possible for everyone That is the biggest part of being in this league. Nearly 1/3 of BBSBL GM's need others to export for them because they have a Mac or no laptop or whatever...this isn't exactly uncommon. |

I let them know that they had holes in their lineups that you were whining like a 5 year old about. Didn't that happen to be right after the trade deadline when they both made trades as well? Odd they would have holes. I'll let them both know that the life of their child and the lives of the others they help as paramedics must go on hold so Shale can lose fairly and get his #1 draft pick for 5 years straight to "build his team the right way" and win. Whine somewhere else. It's getting old. You spend more time here than anyone because you're obsessed with it, you've let us all know that. Others have lives. Last night was my only night home this week before 8....and I got there about 7:45. Tonight I get to go coach 65 jr high track kids in a meet. Tomorrow I get to do the same with 50 HS kids. My life doesn't revolve around my computer. Yours does. |

With this logic matt should just start exporting for jen and jeff too.... they are busy with life as well. as many others are. I get lucky cause i can access here from work. but really 3 teams who get full points for exporting every year when theya re not even the ones exporting.....there is a flaw in that.
