Did they tank to get the team they have now? Sorta. Not as much as the Astros though. Tanking and having horrible management are two different things. |

Clearly it's all about Shale. He built the pirates. Stoool has done nothing the past few seasons he's been here.  ahhh? Why are you taking shots at me? Not taking a shot at you. Taking a shot at Shale for taking all the credit for the pirates. |

Shale, have you ever considered sole sim/play in your spare time? I solo play/sim often. It may help you with your desire to have the perfect league where all of the teams are actively managed, although I'd guess you would pour so much time in to it that it would be like a video game that you beat to you. I recently bought ootp16 and it's a great game and I've been solo playing numerous leagues from numerous era's at night when I'm watching baseball or hockey. Meh it would be interesting but it just wouldn't be the same without others managing other teams. I co-commish LBB and I've had to babysit the 2 or 3 open teams we've always had there for a while because we've had trouble recruiting there, but now we only have 1 open team thankfully. |
