Oh well I thought the minor stuff was ok. Good to know. Didn't know there would be a problem with all that. I don't have a problem per se, just concerned about everyone you're helping is getting 20 points whereas Jen/Jeff/Ashes are...not. I understand completely and will follow whatever you say. |

Sorry for that misunderstanding. No one ever told me that wasn't ok to do and every time I see that a prospect needs a promotion, I'd feel an actual compulsion to do it immediately. Guess I'll have to control this better in the future... I would too, I would want to. But I want to know that the teams you are helping are actually asking for help. Stutter obviously is active, so I have no doubt he's telling you to FIX THIS! FOOL! Hahaha he actually does say that a lot |

Lets ignore history. I say cubs and red sox in the the division. Same for Cards and dodgers. Plus all the teams Shale manages in one division. Step 2 let hilarity ensue. I don't run other teams...I export for them because they cannot possibly export for themselves for various reasons. Big difference... It was just a joking comment bud no one is accusing. |

Trust me, my goal is for this league to be as hands-off as possible as compared to BBSBL. I could not keep up there. I want this to be efficient and moving fast. I have my crazy rules, yes, but they are for the benefit of the league and making it easier (I got rid of time limits on PD reversals, introduced a soft cap on points so we only have to check once per season, etc). That's the idea! Keep it simple! |

This is EXACTLY what I assumed was happening. Because of Shale's.......personality? or condition? whatever it is, I knew there was absolutely no way he could let these teams make mistakes that could be fixed. Again, I'm not accusing Shale, or anybody else of anything, but I think trades between Shale and Shale semi-managed teams are something that needs to be talked about. I really feel like if you can't either export or at least PM Chris from your own cpu, you're probably not the best fit for this type of league.

I did 1 minor trade with DRowe a long time ago when he was with the Orioles. That's it. I don't see what kind of problems could arise from any trades? Are you saying that I would always put together offers and tell them to accept them or something every time? No it's a 2 way street and there shouldn't be any problems. Some of you are reading wayyyy too much into this and blowing it out of proportion. Also, the people I export for never knew ANYTHING about PM'ing Chris to say "no changes" for an export credit. I didn't even know about this until very recently but never thought of telling them that they should PM him for export credits. Everyone needs to just relax and everything will be fine. I will let Stutter, DRowe and Stool all know about this. Again, none of them had any clue in the world about all this PM'ing for export credit stuff. I've always put in work and helped them out. |

Well here's another thing...why isn't the wait list bigger? Why aren't more people stepping up to recruit new GM's here? I brought 3 people here. All in all, this is a lesson learned for me that maybe life can still go on if OOTP errors are not fixed immediately. I'm a perfectionist with things like this. It has always angered me just to see things like this not being done right, but at the same time, I have my own team and I will manage it the best way possible at all costs. Everyone else of course has their own teams and they manage them their own ways. And that's what makes each of our teams unique.
And not everyone else is super concerned about earning points and making sure everything looks perfect like I am. It's tough...I naturally tend to think everyone else looks at everything the same way I do, but it's not true. Others can go on with their lives if they are low on points don't earn much or don't export or don't fix things that should get fixed. It's a gift in a way to not be so fixated on this stuff and sometimes I really wish I could be like that.
It's a gift and curse to focus so much on the details like I do. Sure I don't fuck up but at the same time, I put so much energy into hobbies when I really should put more into other stuff too. Maybe this is something that was just meant to happen to tell me to chill and take it easy and not worry so much about earning points and doing this and that. Who knows.

Clearly I'd want the Pirates to do better than the Phillies for example, being that I built the Pirates from scratch into the powerhouse they've become. Personally, I want the Pirates to dominate the NL East before my Mets are finally ready to go later in the decade. Clearly it's all about Shale. He built the pirates. Stoool has done nothing the past few seasons he's been here.  ahhh? Why are you taking shots at me? |

I ask shale to export for me because most of the time im in my squad car looking at this league or doign military obligations. However, I can take care of it if its that big of a deal and just pm Chris. There a lot of complainers in this league, who utter bull shit without knowledge or facts..just speculation. But you are right me trading and actively checking this site means i bring nothing to the table....

You don't believe me? Stutter does not have a working computer. He uses his phone entirely to access anything OOTP-related. He could get it fixed, but he's a lazy stoner, so that probably won't happen for a while. DRowe works 2 jobs and is never around his computer like at all. And I'm not sure if he even has a Windows computer, because as we all know, it's impossible to use OOTP on a Mac. Again, not sure what kind of computer he has. Stoool is another really busy guy and he asked me if I could help him out with exporting, so as a good friend, I'm helping him out. Maybe we need to find some owners that can participate a little more. We already have a few others on top of those three that don't. Nothing against those guys, but dang, why be in a league when you can't even devote any time. You know? I think you are upset I wouldn't trade with you. |

Unless for some ridiculous reason my FI dropped 7 points in the last two weeks of the season and postseason. It is my experience that division position has a ton to do with FI and attendance, especially in the last month of the season. My FI dropped from 60 to 50 as soon as I fell out of the race, so if Chris is giving away FI, I'd like some too. |

Shale, have you ever considered sole sim/play in your spare time? I solo play/sim often. It may help you with your desire to have the perfect league where all of the teams are actively managed, although I'd guess you would pour so much time in to it that it would be like a video game that you beat to you. I recently bought ootp16 and it's a great game and I've been solo playing numerous leagues from numerous era's at night when I'm watching baseball or hockey.
