and to be fair... his team was way out of it, he could be doing what I do in lbb at time and just look to see if things require my presence without loggin in.

Jason's activity is very sporadic. He will dip for a month, then come back and make a random trade block before disappearing another few weeks. It's the same shit with him as always. |

Allowed too many hits and walks to get brilliant ratings. G/B/G was accurate for him unfortunately, but that's partially the era he played in. Back in the 90s, a low 3 era was considered as good as like a 2.50 is today. |

he had a couple seasons that would have been brill hits, he had a few seasons that would be brill hr and a few brill walk seasons, but was ever so often jut on the wrong side of what is considered to be in that range game wise. He was clutch though.. So often he would give up one or two in the first and then a lead off hit / BB in ever inning but then not allow them home, and get a 3-2 win |

top 7 seasons he avg 7.26 hits per 9 which is a .212 BA against. for the 5 seasons I have to pay reservation fee on his BAA was .210 which as you say is in the bril range. With a 'good' rating there is no way in heck he would ever be able to get close to the stats here as he did irl. giving him a good just penalizes him for having a long career, and not using roids. Baseball Reference shows advance stats for all players which includes pitchers batting average against. Maddux lifetime is .250. 92, 94 and 95 were the only seasons he had under .212. I'm not arguing whether he should be or shouldn't be necessarily in this league, because of the inflated ratings you're right, he probably wouldn't be what he was in real life. But in real life, he wasn't a BR in hits. Facts matter  |
