The dropped pick, IIRC, is because of the use of 0-AR pitchers and low rated position players (think 2 in hits). That's clearly not what is happening here of late and I think teams have done a good job to field a decent team, which is why I'm not bothered by the tanking teams because they (BOS, SEA, others) still fielded decent teams without exploiting team strategies and whatnot. I do agree it's probably dumb luck that SEA lost more games. The fact that Harnisch was put into the rotation and had a 6-7 ERA over 8 starts is pretty ironic. In the end, I am not planning to drop picks this season, but I do think some sort of dropped pick system based on minimum wins or a bottom 5-team lottery is worth exploring. I'm leaning towards the lottery since that is what MLB just recently instituted. That pitcher was in for one sim he died over time and was moved the second I was asked to move him.
