Yes cause I am making up the rules of math and numbers as I go. Why be so by the book on everything? That's no fun. Okay, break. Because if you don't follow the rules, it lends to showing favoritism, or not being fair across the board. Yes, there are times it makes sense to deviate a bit. We still need to be as consistent across the board as we can be.

No if I was acting like Break, I would say something like "Darryl, you're just being a dick" but I have no need to stoop to that level.

If all you NL people are simply scared of the Mets' future, I can understand. But please don't let that cloud any of your judgments. Hahaha hahaha hahaha hahaha hahaha hahaha hahaha hahaha hahaha

I called you break b/c that was his argument in the draft blow up we had a couple of seasons ago. I can't make exceptions "sometimes" b/c then I have to do it "every time". So I choose not to make exceptions so that nobody can claim favoritism. Same things here. The guys need to be rated the same across the board. A "little" rounding is okay, but you can't round a guy up as much as you are suggesting. If he is borderline A/G, he will not get a B ranking, top 5 all time or not.

If one all time great needs help in 2 categories, and one needs it in 3, to hit a level of talents acceptable by you, is that fair?

Off a quick view of Seaver I would have him as G/G/B/G/B with an A duration.

The Hall of Fame for sure and for non-HOF players, maybe 8+ All-Star appearances

What will happen if the league benefits of the doubt too many people I will make the all time great cheapened and lead to a league where being G across the board is average. Something we are already teetering near.

Depending on who they are, that's fair. Don't worry I wanna see Delgado and Halladay be rated correctly in the future too

Yep. I remember Pedro Guerrero as a Cardinal being AWESOME! Chris better give him a B in Hits and HR's.
