Vida Blue was in last season's draft, so he has been deleted.

Can the draft not be a pool of luck this time?

Can the draft not be a pool of luck this time? It'll probably be whatever the players stats gave them in talent ratings...and from what we know its a weak class...so is next years from what i understand..... nothing we didnt see coming. Wrong time to stockpile picks probably why im delaying tearing apart my old team.

Can the draft not be a pool of luck this time? Can you quit bitching about this every year? Every year we have the same conversation. Every year it's explained that "this is how things are in this league". I don't think it's rocket science. If you like it, great! If not, nobody is forcing you to play in this league.

Nobody is forcing me to not speak my opinion either. This type of draft system killed GABL and it's going to eventually kill this.

Underrating the vast majority of players instead of tuning an even class with the names available is a stupid mistake in my opinion. It's making an unbalanced league.

Where those on top stay on top until someone else gets good PD luck for a good span of time.

Because what happens is teams that are good now will be good until the drafts get better, then they get better players, and then they're better again and it's because of "skill" not "better draft classes" and we watch them talk about how good they are while the good number of decent-good GMs currently struggling in this league will continue to do so.

Break, Matt is unable to do draft classes in the even years anymore. Would you like to start on the 1970 pool?

And that is a serious question by the way. I think if you are intimately involved in creating an historical draft pool, you will get a better understanding of the rating system.

I understand the rating system. The system is what's flawed atm in drafts. We need to be a little less "Well with a talent increase payed for he looks like this" for EVERY SINGLE PLAYER.

I would gladly help out but i'd like you to be open to the suggestions I send you while I'm doing it.

I think that slightly tweaking players gets them to perform more like their real life counterparts than staying by the system.

Because you get a feel for what kind of player in OOTP5 plays like X while Y kind of player plays like Z, whereas the ratings system is uncaring about things like that.

Can we just not do discussion threads for drafts anymore? Same annoying thing every year.... I'll just link the thread from last year so we can all skim and pass on this useless conversation again. These are weak draft years...deal with it. Even so these guys can develop and rate up they dont all need to be superstars out the gate...or do you just hope superstars until your pick.

Yep....I planned out when to draft lol...you have any excuse as to why people are against you..... you know the drafts are real right? I'm sure you've at least put that together I'd hope..... you can literally look up the year and see how good the draft will be....but no please keep whining over and over again about the weak drafts.

Weak is the biggest understatement ever. Players going 5 overall should never be barely a major league starter. Yeah let's ruin the league with horrible ratings year after year so you can rebuild and immediately have a better team again with no skill at all.

Overpays in FA because nobody can match his payroll, cuts 20 mil contracts while having a top 5 payroll at all times and had zero worries financially. An 8 year old could succeed with those advantages.

I'm just going to go on record right now really quickly. I have no problem with Break doing the drafts. But if he's going to overinflate everything because he thinks that's what needs to be done, and if I'm able to poke holes in pretty much ALL of his work, and it stands, I'll be out. That isn't the type of league I'm interested in.
