He's obviously going to have final say lol
Why do you have to be so unwavering in even the idea of change.

The only things I'm looking to fix are guys who have been getting undercut due to "FUTURE SPENDING" or guys who get fucked because of a nuance in their game that fucks them here. If a pitcher has a career 3.6 ERA, but walks a lot of guys, why are we giving him fair walks when we KNOW that's not going to equate to a 3.6 ERA. Those kind of fixes. I'm not looking to break the game with Brilliants all over. You've literally just assumed that the entire time without actually asking me.

I actually haven't assumed anything. If a guy is fair in walks, he should be fair in walks. If there wasn't a point system in place that allowed people to bump up talents, like LBB, that's different, but there is. Nothing personal, this is actually me just showing YOU how simple it is when you don't like how a league does things to say "that type of league doesn't interest me" and then quit. That's all I'm doing, is just saying "if this is the road we're heading down, I'm really not interested anymore." See? Simple.

You can't assume every player is getting a spending bump when we average 1-2 a year per team.

I'll handle any drafts Matt has to miss.
You can give some all the talent in the world and it won't make a difference.

You can't assume every player is getting a spending bump when we average 1-2 a year per team. Others get regular in game development plus we have protections for recent draftees.... Points to fix.... All these already help develop better prospects

All these already help develop better prospects By chance. I'm talking about giving teams the ability to rebuild without being forced to rely mostly on chance.

After looking at some of the guys, any chance the numbers can get bumped up a little for some of them? Lots of 1s and 2s. I do understand that players take time to develop, but so many 1s aren't appealing

... perform more like their real life counterparts than staying by the system. But the system is based on real life counterparts...

By chance. I'm talking about giving teams the ability to rebuild without being forced to rely mostly on chance. Not sure what you mean, what would you have done differently? Give me a specific example. Well I'll use the one that I've mentioned before. A/G/A is not going to come close to replicating Tony Perez in real life. The rating system is wrong because the game values numbers differently.

How can the rating system be wrong? It's based on the numbers lol.
And I think it was even stated that Tony Perez was borderline, but given the reward system, we can afford to be conservative.
The irony is that he's now a stud because of a PD bump. But in real life, he's not a stud, he was a player who benefited from longevity.

The system is wrong because it's an old flawed game.

Longevity doesn't exist in ootp5 That's why I give the longevity guys Durable injury rating, Good consistency and higher actual ratings.

Aside from Matt's comments, nothing else? I'm working on the actual ratings now, everything else will remain....

We should be paying attention to how long between draft and major league debut and rate accordingly. Ken Harrelson is an example of why.

Agreed, but Ken Harrelson is not an example of it failing, it could be an example of luck or bad luck. If you have 100 other examples, then we need to fix something.

I'd prefer that Darryl do it. I'd actually probably make myself FIND time before I'd be too excited about Break doing it, nothing personal, just knowing his feelings and what he thinks he wants to do. I'm pretty sure that had Chris known Darryl was willing to do it all he wouldn't have offered it to you.
