Why did we edit Piazza to be so good? I get it - I'm a Mets fan, but he was drafted in the 62nd round in real life.
Why are editing draft classes to begin with? The amount of talent in this league is mind blowing. How many 10 AR pitchers are in the league right now? How many brilliant in hits?
It's worth a discussion IMO.

We edit players based on how they did in real life.... I do agree the league has too much talent. With point upgrades...it's an issue. The fact that if a guy has good in ratings means he may not actually be good anymore is a problem.

It makes sense. Piazza was worth drafting prior to editing him.
I thought I was the only on who felt like this. Agree that if a guy has a good in ratings he may/probably won't have success. I just feel like that with all the talent in the league, it takes any skill/strategy out. I always felt that's the funnest part of an online league.
I just feel like if you want to edit classes then do away with point upgrades or vice versa. The points will never leave and I don't want it to. But I think something needs to be done.

It's worth a discussion IMO. 36 total for 10 AR / > 8 HA (includes a couple that have already had PD's so no longer bril hit) 45 that are brill hits(includes in the minors),32 are 25 and older, 23 are over 30, 8 are over 35 so there are just 7 that are under 25 where the majority are over 30, and 8 are soon to be gone from the league. Quick scan of the next couple draft shows maybe 1 to join the ranks make up of brill hit pitchers unsigned 2 bal - 1 cle - 2 cha - 4 nyy-2 tor-1 mil-1 kc-1 sea-4 tex-3 atl-5 nym - 5 cin-1 pit-4 stl-2 lan-3 sf-5

That's a lot.
21 B/B guys? Seems like there should be 5-6 tops - even that's high.
How many of those 21 are in the majors? What are there stats?

He’s the best offensive catcher of all time by a mile and will likely be the only catcher we ever see start with brilliant hits and homers. If any catcher deserves such honors it’s him.

Bub is clearly a party popper lol not to worry tho all the upcoming classes will feature great hitters and not a lot of pitching.

I do agree to a point....When players with good ratings are nearly worthless and wildly under-performing and inconsistent, I think there is a problem.
Whitmer is a B in hits, but a 283 career avg?
Tony Fernandez, G in hits, B in BB but a 234 career avg and a career OBP of 302?

Whitmer is a brilliants singles hitter. The AVG double, POOR triples and FAIR homers matters too.

Fernandez is 25 and hasnt really reached his full potential yet.
Look at Rickey Henderson. Hs got amazing talents, good ratings now and seems to just be getting into a groove at 29. 2 straight 800+ OPS seasons. ut it took him until 29.

Ill be honest. The key is starting pitching. BRILL hit SPs should be valued high. You need BRILl hit SPs or SPs with 3 BRILLS at 2B HR and BB. If you dont have 4 9 AR + SPs you aint winning anything.
