We don't get compensation points for picks we traded for? Chris mentioned this last season. The compensation points are for the teams that were awful, and not transferable by trade. I'll see if I can find the post |

It's my 50th birthday, so, like a normal person, I was out celebrating. I left and I was 4 picks away. Nagy got auto'd after I left, which means I would have been able to pick. I had a list of 2, Nagy and O'Leary and since I wasn't sure on 3/4/5 I didn't send a list KNOWING I'd have time. Instead I get auto'd with a FAIR in walks pitcher who will never make it and an IMMEDIATE auto on a UT IF when I'm sitting on Ryno and Treadwell, neither would have been on any of my lists. In rounds 2 OR 3. No idea why we are sprinting through on a Friday night. No offense Chris, but numerous times in the off-season Chris goes dark for 10-14 days or takes a vacation and nobody cares because I think most of us are at an age that it's not that deep. I go to dinner for my birthday and I get the old "here, GM with a terrible team, here's two more worthless players". Good work. It's fine, you guys just keep doing your thing on a Friday night I guess. |

no chris always does staggard windows it's only 2 hrs after the last pick, and you did have 2 hrs after the last pick It's been staggered since the beginning, it's a 4-hour window so people know they have around that time to either pick or only worry about providing a short list. Let's swap O'Leary with Nabholz. Shouldn't affect the draft. |

If we can't control who's on our team I really have no interest anymore. I was one of the original GM's but if we have to rush through everything for the sake of the young guys with the attention span of gnats it's probably not the league for me at this point.
