No matter what happens I don't feel we should be forcing free agency signings. Part of the league is turning extra game cash into assets. If we force teams to sign free agents and thus cause them to profit less then the max 25mil game cash per year, then we are hurting an aspect of how rebuilding teams rebuild.

Modify your stadium. Sign FA to contracts and trade them at the deadline to competing teams.

I agree with the blatantly leaving players in the minors to lose more games, but forced signings seems like a step too far to me. I have no problem with someone calling me or anyone out for having a guy in the minors who is ready to be called up and is an upgrade to my team.
That is realistic to real MLB. The diamond backs signed two free agents this last iffseason to one year deals and are losing horribly and nobody is forcing them to sign additional guys who have been released or put on waivers by other teams.

Sign FA to contracts and trade them at the deadline to competing teams. 3 year rebuild profiting 50 mil per year that's 75 mil in game cash to turn into assets and 75 mil in stadium cash to do a full stadium reno or pay most of the construction costs on a new stadium. I agree with policing tanking to a level but not where we are taking cash out of the hands of teams by making unnecessary signings.

No big signings. We’re talking end of roster scrubs. Any compensatory signings to replace a scrub should be capped at like $1M or maybe even less

I have to force signings because some teams simply don't have enough talent to even get a full lineup in the majors. There were less than 10 viable players on PIT's roster the last season (and the one before that too). It's rare that I do that, only when tanking teams don't bother to sign anyone in FA>
