So happy my depth in the minors has disappeared because of one person's obsession with another... 100% Owners that are active building depth as part of an organization. Just last offseason I got a huge rating bump from a guy that would have been otherwise automatically cut. |

Or ANY guy without a blue star left in AA or A because the owner is too lazy to move him to AAA |

58 mil payroll and you can't keep your depth? You're just full of it. Just let a bunch of FA walk. Your brain is full of a GM that has caused rule changes. I used to have a AAA and AA nearly full of players. Most were sitting on a bunch of average ratings which I stocked to hope for a PD. They're gone after your persistent whining about one person. I don't usually have 300k to waste on guys waiting for a lucky PD. But continue your obsession, sorry to interfere. |

I dont agree with how you run your team. That being said you get to run them however you want until you quit or get fired. Im sick of Break feeling the need to correct some injustice here. And in his attempt to do this he has made all of our experiences much worse. Break legit STFU about this. Or quit. But Im over it. If Chris want to fire Texas so be it but Breaks constant whining about it is tiresome. |

i do think this is an awful rule as well. Just thought id say. None of the guys i had to let go are going to change anyones teams. or help them be anything better. Half of them theyd have to spend points or help for a rate up like I was. Id say if we are going to keep it 30 years old at least.

It’s a solid team-building strategy and I’m not thrilled with new rule personally, BUT in real life you can’t just stash guys forever. If you don’t add them to the 40 they eventually become minor league FAs. That’s all this is. FWIW, I kinda liked Atl’s suggestion that instead of releasing everyone you could have so that anyone could sign a player away, rule 5 style. It should only be once or twice a year though, cuz otherwise active GMs would just pilfer anyone as soon as they got PD. |

If Chris want to fire Texas so be it but Breaks constant whining about it is tiresome. you know what's tiresome? being the only gm penalized for "tanking" because i left one pitcher in my rotation who died from a 6ar to a 1ar over the course of the year, while every single person since has gotten a free pass doing much worse stuff. Not to mention the only reason I got punished is that certain people complained enough. |

lou Whitaker got a HR PD to Brill at age 38 this past offseason I just had a couple good PDs to 2 33-year-olds that just barely missed the cut because I called them up in September. |
