Anyway, I will defer to Jeremy, I trust that whatever decision is made is final. Either keep it at Valle or select from auto list.
Next season, I will provide a cleaner list and update it.

If I were cheating I'd screw over the Yanks (b/c they are my main competition), Matt Carpenter (b/c he and I are at odds sometimes), or Milwaukee (b/c they are probably my biggest divisional threat currently). But not Washington.  It sucks, but I don't like making exceptions b/c a pick "doesn't look right." Next year, I say we auto it like you did this year, but we clean that file up, and keep it up to date throughout the draft. And then, we can use that list, and not the computer auto feature. I don't think we can mix and match, and I've been using the computer feature all draft, so I'd like to stick with it. Next year, we can just use the list if we get it cleaned up enough to follow. My $0.02. Edit: I see that you already talked about the cleaner list for next year. I like that. No questions that way, as long as everybody doesn't care about the computer AI feeling needs over best available player. |

Completely agree. Next season, we can update the list together, using the strike-out feature.

I work 12 hours a day dude I can't make a list on my phone and I shouldn't be given 5 minutes if the guy before me got all morning The guy before you got about 2 hours, tops, b/c I went to lunch. If you can get online and post, and give Shale your pick, then you can certainly send me a two man list. I said this in my PM to you, but the rule has always been that your pick is up when your deadline expires, regardless of how far behind in auto'ing picks, or pulling from lists we may be. In your case, I was one pick behind. Send a two man list. That is what you are suppose to do. Or at least send me a PM that you are around, and will make your pick as soon as I get the draft caught up. I can't stay 100% caught up all day (I have to eat and shit). And I can't change allotted time slots either, just b/c I miss auto'ing by 45 minutes. This isn't new. This is 100% the way I've ran the draft, and Chris wants it ran, from day 1 of this league. Not trying to be an ass, but dang, just follow the rules. They haven't changed. |

Not in this league, and not in GABL when I used to run the draft over there. That would be a terrible idea, as it would put best available into my interpretation. The game has an auto pick feature, that is what I've always used. And starting next year, we're going to run out a test draft, clean that list up, and that will be our order, and where we'll pull from. |

I posted a list because it would be the only logical way to give the #1 available player to an expansion team since the expansion teams technically do not exist. Plus. if anyone wanted to follow along, they would see who is "next" but it's apparently not like a Yahoo! fantasy draft where the #1 available is taken. I admit by adding a list, it makes the auto-picking even more convoluted; so if we do go by the list starting next season, understand we are not "fixing" it but simply just giving us a way to auto picks without having the game in front of us. |

The site lists best available pitchers and best available hitters and then we'd go by whether any 5-stars are left on either side, then 4.5-stars, and 4-stars and so on. |

The good thing is that the autopicks I did for the expansion teams in the 2nd round were from the list. All other autopicks that I or Jeremy did were otherwise by PC.
So that's good, so the list didn't mess anything up.
Jeremy, what are your thoughts on not doing a list at all, and just go by the AI?
I understand the AI messes up, but we need to be consistent.

I consistently give the draft mods permission to use their best judgment on my pick in the event it ever needs to be auto'd.
The AI is flawed. Unless someone is intentionally being a dickhead and giving me all Poor players, I would be fine with a mod picking for me. Much more than the computer fucking up.
Lol the previous notion of "oh well the computer picked an all Poor talent player" being okay is just silly.
